Professional Summary
Miles Johnson is a recent Morehouse College graduate with Magna Cum Laude honors. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in journalism. During his matriculation at Morehouse, Miles served as the Sports Editor his junior year, and the Managing Editor his senior year for the campus newspaper, "The Maroon Tiger." In these roles, Miles has interviewed athletes and celebrities including: Chris Paul, Trae Young, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Erik Spoelstra, Gherbo, Vic Blends, Cam Kirk, Jaylen Brown, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, David Aldridge, Nakobe Dean, Wallace Peoples (Wallo) and more.

Sports have been a part of Miles' life since he was four years old running around kicking a soccer ball in the Bronx, New York. Although a competitive soccer player, Miles later developed an affinity for other sports, like basketball and football, after moving with his family to Philadelphia as a young child. Around his sophomore year of high school, Miles would watch daily sports talk shows as he walked to school every weekday morning. And in doing so, he began to study sports commentators. From that point on, he realized that sports media was his passion.
In July 2020 he decided to create his own podcast called, "Real Talk with MJ" that covers all sports. Since then, his podcast has grown to have over 11K followers on all social media platforms and he plans on continuing to build his podcast to reach his ultimate goal of having his own sports debate show.
One thing that's unique about Miles is that although he has aspirations of being on-air, he's had a stutter for his entire life. However, he's never allowed stuttering to stop him from achieving his goals. Miles lives by a quote one of his mentors told him which is, "Stuttering can be an anchor that holds you back, or a springboard that propels you forward."
Miles was able to host and curate the "Journey Through Stuttering" panel at Morehouse in March 2023, and brought former NBA player, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as a guest panelist alongside students from Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University that stutter as well.
